Last chance to enter Scotland’s food and drink awards

Entries must be in by 5pm on Friday 24 February 2017.

FOOD and drink businesses from all over Scotland have just three days left to enter the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2017.

Businesses of any size within the Scottish food and drink industry are able to enter the award’s 21 categories. Entries must be made through the online application form.

With new trends becoming apparent in the industry, the awards have introduced four new categories to ensure that every aspect of Scotland’s food and drink industry is addressed.

The new categories added this year are:

– Own Label Product of the Year.
– Primary Producer of the Year.
– Brewing and Distilling.

The awards are organised by Scotland Food & Drink and run in partnership with The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS).

The categories are split into two groups: Business and Tasted.

Scotland Food & Drink aims to grow the industry to a value of £16.5 billion by 2017 and build Scotland’s international reputation as a Land of Food and Drink.

Winners of the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony and dinner on 18 May  2017 at Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).

Tickets are available to members for £125+VAT per person while the non-member rate is £250+VAT.

Two tickets are made available to shortlisted companies at the time finalists are notified, these are offered at the discounted rate of £95+VAT.
