THE Spa at Carden Park has been crowned Best Luxury Countryside Spa Global Winner at the World Luxury Spa Awards 2023.
Launched in 2020, it scooped: Best Luxury Romantic Destination Spa in Northern Europe and Best Luxury Spa in Northern Europe.
Set in the grounds of the privately owned Carden Park Estate, the 4,500 sqm spa was commended for its seamless spa experience. The indoor and outdoor spa facilities include two large vitality pools, an extensive thermal suite and a beauty lounge.
With one of the UK’s largest spa gardens, boasting a stunning view over the Cheshire rolling countryside, The Spa at Carden provides guests with a nature reset. Guests can indulge in a multi-sensory experience of wellbeing with numerous thermal experiences and an all-weather Bollinger Champagne bar.
The 1,000-acre Carden Park estate is located close to the village of Broxton. It has 197 bedrooms including four Carden Luxury Suites, a vineyard, leisure club, two championship golf courses and conference and meeting facilities.
The two AA Rosette fine dining restaurant – The Vines – run by executive Chef Graham Tinsley MBE along with Head Chef Harri Williams, offers quarterly seasonal tasting menus that showcase fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant was inspired by the on-site vineyard at Carden Park. It is open Thursday to Sunday.
Spa guests can dine at the park’s Elements restaurant with its healthy lunches to Champagne afternoon tea. Elements is also open on selected evenings for a twilight dinner service.
The independent family-owned Spa at the Manor House Hotel in Alsager, east Cheshire, also took home multiple awards. It scooped Best Luxury Garden Spa in Europe and Best Luxury Countryside Spa in the UK.
The English Country Garden inspired spa opened at the end of 2022 and has fast become a must-visit wellness destination in the UK It has a hydrotherapy pool, potting shed sauna, ice plunge bath as well as the spas crowning jewel, the UK’s first swim up bar.
All spa guests eat at The Pool House which is part of the swim up bar – they serve mezze platters or afternoon tea to guests enjoying a spa day. The spa also has the Stables Bar & Grill Restaurant.
