Rising Stars
White wine from the north and south of the Rhône Valley are gaining rapid recognition. In 2025, 13% of the total wine produced in the region was dedicated to whites. This equalised rosé production in the region for the first time.
The wines are crafted from 15 authorised grape varieties, including White Grenache, Viognier, Clairette Blanche, Roussanne and Marsanne. These wines present a wide range of styles, catering to every palate, occasion, and cuisine.
Try floral whites of the newest Cru from Laudun (AOC), one of the regions earliest known winegrowing areas. Wines from vibrant Ventoux, located in the far southeast of southern Rhône, bordering Provence. Or the legendary and age-worthy cuvées of white Hermitage.
Savour the richness of Condrieu, the aromatics of Saint-Joseph, elegance of Vacqueyras and the freshness of Luberon.
Winemakers have a strong commitment to sustainability; In 2025, 63% of Rhône AOP production took a serious environmental approach. Around 25% of Rhône Valley wines are now certified organic.
During the day, an exclusive trade tasting will take place from 11 am to 5 pm, with expert-led masterclasses hosted by Rhône specialist Matt Walls.
From 6pm it will open to the public. Taste the breadth and depth of Rhône whites in a lively and accessible setting, complete with a theatrical flair.

Taste Profiles
Fresh & Lively category is characterised by crisp acidity and vibrant aromas of citrus and white fruits. Grown in cooler, well-drained soils, these wines often include Grenache blanc, Bourboulenc, and Piquepoul Blanc grapes and utilise reductive winemaking to preserve their zesty freshness.
Ideal as an apéritif or paired with light fare such as salads and fresh goat cheese.
Fruity & Round style provides a fuller palate with a natural balance of tropical and stone fruits. Made from Grenache, Clairette, and Bourboulenc harvested at peak maturity, these wines maintain freshness while delivering a round, harmonious mouthfeel.
Pair with white fish, light meats and milder cheeses. The wines are versatile and approachable.
Rich & Complex style delivers luxurious layers of fruit, spice, and minerality. Featuring Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne. These wines are often harvested overripe and aged in oak barrels to develop subtle notes of toast and honey.
A sophisticated choice for gastronomes seeking intricate flavour profiles.
The Rhône Valley also offers exquisite, sweet and sparkling whites that are worth exploring. Muscat de Beaumes de Venise and Rasteau Vins Doux Naturels presents a luscious, aromatic sweetness.
Perfect for sipping or dessert pairing.
Sparkling Clairette de Die, Saint-Péray and Crémant de Die bring elegant bubbles and fresh, delicate character.
Ideal for celebrations or as refreshing apéritifs.
Rhône Valley white wines highlight an evolving landscape of style, terroir, and tradition. This is not your average wine tasting. It’s a celebration of taste and talent you won’t want to miss!
